Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent of German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. In her early teens, she choreographed an act which earned her a spot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a playful Indian dancer. She finished high school in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She took classes in acting at the HB Studios, but then left to pursue improvisational comedy at The Groundlings School. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mother Olga. She was only 13 when her parents split up. Her father relocated the household to East Meadow New York. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. The actress also appeared on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
